scarrozzare

Today’s Parola del Giorno is the transitive verb, scarrozzare, which means to drive someone around or to chaffeur someone around. Take note that when this verb is conjugated, the accent shifts: scarrOzzo, scarrOzzi, scarrOzza, etc. The past participle scarrozzato; avere is used in compound tenses. See the verb used in its context below:

Quando sono andato a trovare il mio amico a Napoli, mi ha scarrozzato in giro per la città.

When I visited my friend in Naples, he drove me around the city.
