Today’s Parola del Giorno is the expression, essere (testardo come) un mulo, which can mean to be (as stubborn as) a mule or to be pigheaded.  See the expression used below in its context:

Walter è testardo come un mulo! Non capisce mai quando è il momento di lasciar perdere e andare avanti!

Walter is as stubborn as a mule! He never understands when it is time to let go and move on!
