Today’s Parola del Giorno is the expression, avere una voce in capitolo, which means to have a say

Detesto quando i miei amici decidono cosa fare il sabato sera senza mai chiedere se mi va bene o no.  Sembra che io non abbia voce in capitolo!

I hate when my friends decide what to do Saturday evening with ever asking if it is alright with me or not.  It seems that I don’t have a say!
