avere le mani di pasta frolla

Today’s Parola del Giorno is the delicious expression avere le mani di pasta frolla, which means to have butterfingers. It refers to a person who is always dropping things and cannot seem to keep anything in their hands!

La pasta frolla is short pastry is often used in the making of crostate (tarts) and other Italian desserts. It would also be something used to make pies in the United States, like an apple pie with a pie crust on top and bottom. It is made with butter, flour, sugar, and a few other ingredients.
