Parola del Giorno is now offering lessons and Italian conversation on Skype with Marcello!
Marcello is looking for students who are interested in conversational Italian practice or lessons in Italian. If you are interested, please send Marcello an email (firstname.lastname@example.org). In your email, let us know what you wish to learn or practice as well as how many years you have been studying Italian, what you would like to learn improve or whether you just want to practice speaking.
Lessons with Marcello can be customized to suit your learning needs! Regular practice speaking and listening are the best ways to improve and keep your Italian language skills current and fresh!
Introductory Pricing (all prices in US Dollars $):
The first thirty minute lesson is only $10.00. This gives you a chance to practice your language skills and see what Marcello has to offer. Simply pay as you go with the following prices:
each 30 minute lesson: $15.00
each 45 minute lesson: $20.00
each 60 minute lesson: $30.00
Email us, and we’ll work with you to find a suitable time for the lesson. Remember that Marcello is in Italy, but we will do our best to make sure that the times are agreeable for all.
Payment should be delivered before the lesson commences. After a day and time has been agreed upon, we will email you a PayPal invoice. Please pay the invoice before your lesson. You do not have to have a PayPal account to pay via PayPal.
Refunds and Cancellations:
If you pay for the lesson and then change your mind, we’ll refund your lesson money as long as you cancel with 24 hours of your lesson, otherwise, the lesson fee is forfeited. If the lesson time that you have worked out is no longer a good time, please let Marcello know so that the lesson can be rescheduled, and you can reschedule your lesson at no charge.
Lessons are done via Skype with or without webcam. If you need help downloading or setting up Skype, we can also provide some assistance. A microphone is required. Many computers have them built-in. For best results, we recommend purchasing a compatible headset.
Marcello graduated in 2010 with a degree in English Literature from Federico II in Naples, having done his thesis on the short stories of Martin Amis and Ian McEwan. Marcello helps to create sample sentences for the daily posts, provides and suggests words and expressions for the site and helps to make the language used as “Italian” as possible. He also serves as a invaluable language advisor and also works as a translator (Marcello recently translated the Itunes app store description from English to Italian for ooTunes: http://www.ootunes.com/) and tutor. Marcello is currently working on becoming a teacher in Italy.
