l’oceano

Today’s Parola del Giorno is the noun, l’oceano, which means ocean.  This word has an irregular accent (on the “e”)! See the noun used below in its context:

L’acqua ricopre il 71% della superficie terrestre e consiste di 5 oceani: Atlantico, Pacifico, Indiano, Artico e Antartico.

Water covers 71 percent of the Earth’s surface and is made up of five oceans:  the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian, Arctic and Antarctic.

Ebook Update:

: You can buy the book from Google Play or the iBook Store

: Yes, there will be a Kindle and Nook version! If you have another ebook store that you prefer to use, please let me know, and I will try to make a version for that. The Kindle and Nook version will be epubs, so they will be mostly text based layouts meant for reading on e-readers. I’m still learning about these kinds of files, but I think I finally got the hang of it!

Remember, if you donated from May 1st to July 2nd, you get a free copy of the book! If you have an iPad, iPad mini, or Mac, there are only a few codes left so please email me if you would like your free book to be one of these. Apple only gives 50 codes (but I do have a plan “B”). Otherwise, the Google Play version can be read on all computers and tablets and the pdf can even be downloaded to your computer (but you need Adobe Digital Editions and an Adobe ID). To use the Google Play version, you must have a Google Account. They are free, and you’ll get free updates of the ebook, too!

: Don’t worry, I have a record of everyone who donated so if I don’t hear from you, I will contact you or send you a copy of the pdf!

: And yes, there will be a paperback version! I’m investigating pricing as we speak!
