brillo

Today’s Parola del Giorno is the adjective, brillo, which means tipsy.  See the adjective used below in its context:

È meglio che non mi ubriaco. Non reggo bene l’alcol e ogni volta che sono brillo dico cose strane, divento troppo euforico e mi comporto in un modo poco raccomandabile. Meglio evitare!

It is better  I do not get drunk. I do not hold my liquor well, and every time that I am tipsy I say strange things, become too euphoric and behave in a way that I wouldn’t recommend. Better to avoid!
