Today’s Parola del Giorno is the adjective ducale, which means ducal. You’ll see this adjective used to describe many places in Italy. Il Palazzo ducale di Urbino è uno dei simboli del Rinascimento italiano. Fu voluto dal Duca Federico di Montefeltro ed ospita anche la Galleria Nazionale delle Marche, con opere di Raffaello e Piero della Francesca.

The Ducal Palace of Urbino is one of the symbols of the Italian Renaissance. It was built by Duke Federico di Montefeltro and also houses the National Gallery of Le Marche with works by Raphael and Piero della Francesca.
